Sometimes

Either you're in work hating it or out of work dreading it. Everything appears the same. I might fleetingly get pleasure from Friday nights, but Saturday morning would bring the thought that I had wasted half the weekend already. Sunday was dedicated merely to staving off rising nervousness. The week itself introduced the fixed fear of being discovered or shown up; my mind would punish me if it ever thought of enjoyable or just enjoying the second. It takes hard work to develop a different perspective, which is why mindfulness is so useful. But another favourite ally grew to become the poetry on the tube. If you might be changing career from a job you hate then life itself can feel stuck, as though there is only one version of reality. But typically new and different things do occur. Sometimes even good issues occur. Remembering that can jolt you back to a unique type of reality. And generally thatâs enough to maintain you happening the lengthy, dark days which appear so uniform and without finish.
